"Voices of Resilience: The Fight for Dignity and Change"
We are the students—dreamers, fighters, and survivors. We leave our homes in search of a better future, only to face the harsh reality of unsafe housing, exploitation, inadequate food, and threats to our safety. Every day, we endure, holding onto the belief that a better life is possible. But that hope is tested when we are ignored, neglected, and pushed aside by a system that is meant to protect us. How long can we endure this pain? How many more of us must suffer in silence before we are heard?
THE INCIDENT
The tipping point came in July 2024, when a tragic incident occurred in ORN, Delhi. Three aspirants lost their lives due to waterlogging in an underground library, a preventable tragedy caused by inadequate infrastructure and negligence. This heartbreaking event shook the student community to its core and ignited a collective outburst. For too long, students had endured these hardships without a platform to voice their frustrations—this was the moment for change.
On 28th July, 2024, a peaceful protest began in ORN, demanding immediate reforms to ensure the safety, well-being, and dignity of students. It became clear that the problems faced by students in ORN were not isolated; they were shared by students across the country. As students from all parts of India came together for the protest, they realized they were fighting for the same rights and reforms that their brothers and sisters faced in other student hubs across the nation.

Born to INSAF
INSAF was born during this historic moment of unity. The organization was not just a reaction to one tragic event, but a clear statement that students everywhere needed a platform to raise their voices. Students were determined to create a space where their concerns could be addressed, their safety ensured, and their dignity upheld—not just in ORN, but across all student communities in India.
The formation of INSAF marked the beginning of a movement with one clear mission: to demand and achieve systemic change for students. The organization was built with the understanding that every student, regardless of their location, faces the same core issues. From inadequate housing to unsafe environments, these problems transcend regional boundaries. INSAF is for every student, with every region and every issue in mind.
With this vision in place, INSAF is committed to standing up for students everywhere. The organization provides a platform where students can unite, raise their voices, and fight for their rights—ensuring that no student in any corner of India ever feels neglected or unsafe again. INSAF is the movement that gives students the power to demand justice, fairness, and the reform they deserve.
