From Books to Blood Bags: Aspirants Answer the Call of Humanity

While burning the midnight oil for civil services, INSAF volunteers proved that “serving the nation” begins long before wearing the bureaucrat’s uniform. Throughout April 2025, our student-led initiative organized 12 blood donation camps across Delhi-NCR, partnering with major hospitals to address critical shortages.
By the Numbers:
✅ 1,200+ units of blood donated
✅ 15 hospitals supported (incl. AIIMS, Safdarjung, BLKMAX)
✅ 800+ first-time donors (mostly UPSC aspirants)
✅ 3 emergency response drives for accident victims
Why This Matters
-
Summer Crisis: April typically sees a 20% drop in blood donations due to heatwaves and vacations.
-
Aspirant Solidarity: “We may compete for ranks, but we unite for humanity,” said Venky (INSAF Volunteer) while donating at BLK MAX Hospital.
-
Real Impact: Blood collected helped thalassemia patients, new mothers, and trauma cases.
Camp Highlights
1. Mega Drive at Old Rajinder Nagar (9th April)
-

-
Special Gesture: Police officials joined after seeing student enthusiasm
2. Midnight Emergency Call (18th April)

3. Female Aspirants Lead the Way
